It’s been a lot of fun working for Krasno this past year or so – I’ve gotten to see some amazing music and travel to some great places (check past blog posts for the 5 night run we did last spring) .
This past monday in New York is one of those cool places. The Blue Note is one of those places that everyone should experience. And DAMN did I pick a good show to do so.
Eric Krasno and Friends is: Nigel Hall on Keys, Cory Henry, Chris Loftlin on Bass and Louis Cato on Drums – with special guest second show, Jon Batiste. This group of guys put on one of the most musically intense shows I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing. With it being a seated and tabled venue. I actually was able to enjoy a lot of the music and wasn’t stuck running around the venue to get to the next spot.
