Biggest headling show of their career!! I can't make it to all the P4 shows like I did in the beginning. Mainly because my homies have blown up and are traveling all over the country (and some international gigs) slaying the jamband scene and putting Baltimore, MD on the map. Since moving to Philadelphia, I have had to make the drive or train to DC to photograph shows for clients and clubs. This one was surely not something I was going to miss. (more…)

How much do I love Cris Jacobs? Endlessly. This guy has inspired me as a guitar player and songwriter since I was 18 years old. I went from being a fan, to a worker, to a friend. But I never stopped being a fan. To have him at my work (The Mann Center) was so amazing. He kicked off the day at the Outlaw Music Festival. If anyone knows me, they know my love for trains. About two years ago I started using the amtrak to commute from Baltimore to Philadelphia for work. It opened up a new world of travel for me. When moving to Philadelphia in April, the subway system became a major part of my way of getting from point A to point B, and beyond. I was asked by a new client to make a mood board of my choice, and I chose the EL (Market Frankford Line). Without it, I would be riding my bike so much more then I already do. Which is fine, but sometimes, I need to not be a sweaty mess when going to meetings or dinners. Here is just a small taste. (more…)

It's been a lot of fun working for Krasno this past year or so - I've gotten to see some amazing music and travel to some great places (check past blog posts for the 5 night run we did last spring) . This past monday in New York is one of those cool places. The Blue Note is one of those places that everyone should experience. And DAMN did I pick a good show to do so. Eric Krasno and Friends is: Nigel Hall on Keys, Cory Henry, Chris Loftlin on Bass and Louis Cato on Drums - with special guest second show, Jon Batiste. This group of guys put on one of the most musically intense shows I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. With it being a seated and tabled venue. I actually was able to enjoy a lot of the music and wasn't stuck running around the venue to get to the next spot. (more…)
