Biggest headling show of their career!! I can't make it to all the P4 shows like I did in the beginning. Mainly because my homies have blown up and are traveling all over the country (and some international gigs) slaying the jamband scene and putting Baltimore, MD on the map. Since moving to Philadelphia, I have had to make the drive or train to DC to photograph shows for clients and clubs. This one was surely not something I was going to miss.

It's been a lot of fun working for Krasno this past year or so - I've gotten to see some amazing music and travel to some great places (check past blog posts for the 5 night run we did last spring) .
This past monday in New York is one of those cool places. The Blue Note is one of those places that everyone should experience. And DAMN did I pick a good show to do so.
Eric Krasno and Friends is: Nigel Hall on Keys, Cory Henry, Chris Loftlin on Bass and Louis Cato on Drums - with special guest second show, Jon Batiste. This group of guys put on one of the most musically intense shows I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. With it being a seated and tabled venue. I actually was able to enjoy a lot of the music and wasn't stuck running around the venue to get to the next spot.

Washington, DC - The Hamilton - Last night was a double whammy. Photographing one of my top 5 bands in one of my top 5 venues. The Hamilton is state of the art and top notch. EKB is a super group of talent. Put those two things together and you know that the evening is going to pop off right from the start.
