I had the pleasure of not only getting to photograph this portrait of Eric Krasno Band, but I was able to hang and relax back stage while the band warmed up and relaxed (I event got to sing some Grateful Dead songs with them).
First time I set my eyes on big something was at the Camp Barefoot festival in West Virginia in 2009. When sitting at my camp site a neighbor approuched me with a backpack full of flyers and posters of the band. It was his soul purpose to flood the festival with awareness of, at the time, a small band from North Carolina, and turn them into a staple of the festival circuit. Seven years later, you can see this band opening up for massive bands all across the country in club and at festivals. (more…)
Every year us Baltimorians are blessed to have our hometown hero play the music of Jerry Garcia at our beloved 8x10 Club i Federal Hill. This year felt like something a bit more special than the average performance. With two SOLD OUT nights and a packed house the night before in D.C, dead heads and Jerry fans packed in the club and let it all out. (more…)
