What will you do when they tell you no?
The state/country told us to “stay home”… well, it seems like everyone didn’t..until things got bad. We the People, were allowed to go outside to walk pets and exercise. I chose to ride my bicycle (which is also a incredible way to stay the hell away from people.) In the process, I passed many park and areas only to see people doing exactly what “they” told us not to do. SMH. I am not one to follow the rules and shit, it seems like I am constantly breaking them…but, this is one rule you HAVE to follow.
COVID-19 is bigger than we can wrap out heads around. It has affected more people in the country as a sickness and as a financial tragedy (myself included) than I ever could have imagined. I know that my life will not be the same even after this passes and life returns back to “normal”.
I’m lucky to live near a few places that are not as transient as other places, considering I live in Philly. In my travels, I crossed paths with the regular hot spots and saw that they were also were completely empty. Hashtag: scary. No cars on the parkway leading the PMA, no people at city hall…but you know what hasn’t been empty?!?! THE DAMN ROCKY STEPS!!!!
